Tūrepo 4 at Ashgrove School out here in Rangiora, North Canterbury

This is our Ashgrove School mural that was painted at the main entrance of Ashgrove School. Students within school were able to collaborate with their peers to create images/paintings for the mural.

This is my class. On this day we had a few away so I will take another one when we have everyone. We have loved the 1st chpt of The Children of the Rush so far and am looking forward to carrying on with the story.

I am Mrs Cherry and have been a year 7&8 in the Turepo Team for over 12 years. There are 30 year 7 & 8s in the class and in our Tūrepo Hub there are 4 classes in total. We look forward to hear from you and working in collaboration on the Children of the Rush.

  1. Kia ora Megan at Ashgrove - great class photo. My name is Kerri. I absolutely LOVE the mural. I am hoping someone might reply and explain the different parts and how you came up with the idea of the layout/design. Nearly the end of week 1 of reading - tell me something about what you are all thinking so far!
